The wine-growing season was more than sporting in this Olympic year, with annual weather conditions that were extremely complicated to understand, and the harvest put to the test. Champagne experienced abundant rainfall, 2 to 3 times the ten-year average. Downy mildew, favored by these wet conditions, was probably one of the greatest challenges to be overcome between October 2023 and July 2024.

During the harvest, picking routes were constantly adapted to suit the ripeness and health of each plot. Thanks to the hard work of the Joseph Perrier teams, the results are very good in the company's own vineyards. Quality is up to scratch, with excellent potential. Now it's time for the vinification to reveal the full potential of this challenging but qualitative 2024 vintage.
