Hailed by the finest tables in Europe, Joseph Perrier champagne has been awarded the prestigious distinction of "Cuvée Royale" by Queen Victoria and King Edward VII.

1825-1870
At the end of thee century, François-Alexandre Perrier, originally from Épernay, founded his own trading company in Châlons-en-Champagne. His eldest son, Joseph Perrier, soon followed in his footsteps. After opening his own wine merchant's in Avize in 1825, "Joseph Perrier Fils & Cie", he moved to Châlons-en-Champagne, avenue de Paris, in 1827.. Joseph Perrier bought buildings with thousand-year-old cellars dug into the hillside, which he quickly enlarged. The Joseph Perrier name soon became a benchmark in the competitive champagne market.

1870-1918
Émile Armand Perrier developed the family business in the aftermath of the conflict with Prussia in 1870.. Eight years later, as a result of his efforts, his champagnes won a gold medal gold medal at the Paris Universal Exhibition in 1878.. 1918-1950

1950-1979
